Louisville father declares war on drugs and addiction

The second annual Brian's War Benefit is being held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 4 PM – 4 AM at Diamond Pub Concert Hall in Louisville, KY. Frank Karaglanis joined us with details on the annual fundraiser along with two of the bands that will be performing at Saturday's benefit, The Stars Revolt and Josh Bogard & the Dirty South.

This Saturday over two dozen local and regional bands will be performing to help raise funds and bring awareness to the modern day plague of heroin and opioid addiction. Louisville musician Brian Karaglanis was a beloved son, brother and father, who died of a heroin overdose in January, 2017. That’s when Brian’s father Frank Karaglanis declared war on the drug and addiction and started "Brian's War", a foundation combating drug addiction in the name of his son. Frank joined us with details on the annual fundraiser along with two of the bands that will be performing at Saturday’s benefit, The Stars Revolt and Josh Bogard & the Dirty South. 27 bands will perform and Tony Vanetti will emcee the second annual Brian’s War Benefit on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 4 PM – 4 AM at Diamond Pub Concert Hall located at 630 Barret Ave. in Louisville, KY. Tickets are $15.
