LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Clark Memorial will close on Thursday in preparation for Thunder Over Louisville.
The KDF Press Office announced the bridge will close at 9:30a.m. on Thursday, April 19 and will remain closed until 2pm on Sunday, April 22. LMPD plans to release an official Thunder traffic plan on Wednesday.
The Big Four Pedestrial Bridge will also be closed for Thunder festivities. On Friday, April 20, the bridge will be closed from 11a.m. until 5p.m. for the airshow practice. On Saturday, the bridge will be closed from 9am until midnight. Access to the bridge will be restricted to only those pedestrians wishing to cross to the other side from 10 p.m. - post-fireworks - to midnight. Signs will be posted by the Big Four bridge to detail these closures.
