LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two people are dead after a car crash in the Okolona neighborhood early Sunday morning.
Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) responded to an injury accident in the 8800 block of Blue Lick Road around 3:30 a.m.
Police believe it was a head-on collision between two vehicles. There were five people in total who were injured to "varying degrees" from this accident, including two children.
Two adults, one from each vehicle, died on the scene due to their injuries. Their identities are unknown at this time.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating.
