LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) — Louisville linebacker and lead tackler in the 2017 season Jon Greenard will graduate early and transfer to the University of Florida, Rivals.com first reported.
Greenard is set to graduate early in December, and will not have to sit out a season with the Gators after transferring. The red-shirt sophomore will have two years of eligibility to work under former defensive coordinator Todd Grantham, who finished his first season with Florida after coming to the university alongside Dan Mullen.
The University of Louisville told WHAS11 that Greenard never told them whether he would transfer or not.
