LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Grammy Awards have not started their live telecast, but a Kentucky native has already taken home two statues.
Country superstar Chris Stapleton took home Best Country Song for his hit “White Horse” during the 66th Grammy Premiere Ceremony Sunday afternoon.
Stapleton co-wrote White Horse with singer-songwriter Dan Wilson who accepted the award on his behalf.
Stapleton also took home Best Country Solo Performance also for “White Horse.”
The Lexington native has also been nominate for Country Duo/Group Performance for “We Don’t Fight Anymore” with singer Carly Pearce.
