LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Mason Horodyski is the Weekend Sports Anchor/MSJ at WHAS11 in Louisville. He joined WHAS11 in July of 2023.
Mason is a born and raised Upstate New Yorker, growing up in the town of Highland and graduating from Syracuse University in 2020 with a degree in broadcast journalism form the Newhouse School of Public Communication.
Following graduation, Mason began his career in local news as a weekend sports anchor and reporter in Bluefield, West Virginia. After a year in the Mountain State, Mason got his first taste covering college sports in Lubbock, Texas, where he reported on the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Now, Mason is fired up to be in one of the most passionate sports hotbeds in the nation right here in the 'Ville.
Between covering the Cards, Cats, Hoosiers, Lou City, Racing Louisville, local high schools and so much more, Mason enjoys exploring the city, watching sports and playing video games.
