For real life! Immersive 'Bluey' experience coming to Chicago next spring

The "Bluey x Camp" experience will run May 24 through September in the Old Town section of Chicago.

CHICAGO — A trip to Australia will be as close as the Windy City next year.

An immersive "Bluey" experience is coming to Chicago's Old Town neighborhood in the spring of 2024, NBC Chicago reported

The "Bluey x Camp" experience will run May 24 through September, giving fans of the popular cartoon a chance to go through the Heeler family's home and have a meet-and-greet with Bluey and her sister, Bingo.

The experience's website says the tickets, which start at $39 per person, will give visitors an hour to spend in Bluey's house, a 5,000-square-foot recreation of the Heelers' home on the TV show. During their visit, fans can play some of Bluey's favorite games, including "Keepy Uppy."

Groups of up to 25 people will have access to the home during each hour. There will also be photos available at the end of the event and "camp counselors" will be inside the house to help lead the games and other activities.

Organizers say it's designed for fans of all ages, though it's targeted toward kids between 3 and 8 years old. Tickets are required for everyone age 2 and older.

"If you like Bluey as much as we do, you’re gonna love Bluey x CAMP," organizers said.

There will also be "low-sensory experience" times available, as well as accommodations for those with light or sound sensitivities.

The "Bluey x Camp" experience is currently open in Los Angeles.
