LOUISVILLE, Ky. — If you're looking for a fun, not scary, Halloween activity for the whole family, there are currently more than 5,000 beautifully carved and illuminated pumpkins lining the paths of Iroquois Park.
The Jack O'Lantern Spectacular runs every night from Oct. 1 to Nov. 2. Trails open at dusk and you can reserve your one-hour time slot by buying a ticket on its website here.
Guests are treated to an organic art gallery as they walk around the winding paths through the majestic woods of Iroquois Park.
This family-friendly event has become an annual tradition for thousands who come back year after year to experience the variety of carved pumpkins and themed vignettes set to music.
Proceeds from ticket sales directly supposed the Parks Alliance of Louisville, according to the Jack O'Lantern Spectacular website.
