LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The 2016 Kentucky State Fair has been going on for a few days and you’re sure to see dazzling sights while it’s in town.
Lady Houdini says she grew up around magic and her mother was a performer in Indianapolis.
She’s been working as an escape artist for 16 years.
Lady Houdini has many feats and says the longest she has held her breath underwater was 5 minutes and two seconds.
Escaping from tanks isn’t Lady Houdini’s only talent.
“I do a rope escape and I also do an aerial rope jacket escape – I’ll hang down about 30 feet in the air and I’ll get out of a strait jacket,” she said.
During the fair, you can catch Lady Houdini at the fair performing at 12:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
