LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Spooky season just wrapped up and a two popular Louisville radio stations have flipped the switch, setting their sights on Christmas.
Starting Nov. 1, just hours after Halloween ended, both Mix 106.9 and 102.3 The Rose made the switch to play holiday music through Christmas night. It's an annual tradition signaling the start of the holiday season in Kentuckiana.
102.3 The Rose made the festive declaration Friday morning online, saying, "we're just doing what Mariah says..."

Mix 106.9, dubbed "Louisville's Original Christmas Music Station," is known for regularly playing popular adult contemporary music.
However, starting Nov. 1, the station is exclusively blasting holiday music until after Christmas.
Mix 106.9 made the announced Friday morning with a video showing a seamless transition from a man riding a rollercoaster to a man enjoying the holidays.
