LOUISVILLE, Ky. — One of the most renowned a cappella groups in the world is coming to Louisville during their holiday tour.
Pentatonix is widely credited for redefining a cappella, since they first emerged in 2011. The three-time GRAMMY Award-winning vocal quintet — Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee — have sold over 10 million albums worldwide.
The innovative group have performed everywhere from The White House and Macy's Thanksgiving Parade to The Hollywood Bowl. They have collaborated with Kelly Clarkson, Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, Lindsey Stirling and more.
As well as making a few late-night television appearances, Pentatonix also had a notable cameo in the blockbuster Pitch Perfect 2.
The quintet is continuing its holiday tradition with their biggest Christmas tour yet — Pentatonix: Hallelujah! It's Christmas Tour.
Pentatonix is set to perform at the KFC Yum! Center on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 6. Ticket prices range from about $30 to about $250 before fees.
