LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The League of Mascots was the creation of Karl La Greca. He developed it to streamline the process for mascots and people who hire them. Whenever a new mascot is brought in, they are knighted. The Louisville League of Mascots Induction and Knighting Ceremony is Saturday January 12, 2019 at Churchill Downs’ Millionaires Row.
