Prominent African-American photographer, Moneta Sleet jr., is honored through an historical exhibit at the Old State Capitol in Frankfort, Kentucky.
He was a staff photographer for Ebony Magazine who was also known for his photographs of critical moments in the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s.
This is a traveling exhibit from the Through Sleets Eyes festival in Owensboro, Kentucky where the famed photographer was born.
