LOUISVILLE, Ky. — University of Kentucky Hall of Famer and former NFL Quarterback Jared Lorenzen was a legend and a Super Bowl champion, and from the outside, appeared to be living an amazing life. But then last year, he showed the world a different side in an ESPN documentary and a subsequent online series produced by Opt Up called The Jared Lorenzen Project. Jared has lost more than 100 pounds in a year and now he's hoping to encourage other families to live a healthier life as well. In collaboration with the Now Let's Get Fit Foundation, Kroger and the Rajon Rondo Foundation, he's kicking off the 2019 Kentucky Health and Wellness Tour. You can meet him on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Middletown Kroger, which is located at 12501 Shelbyville Road in Louisville, KY. The event is from 12-4 PM and is free and family-friendly. You can also follow Jared's journey on Facebook.
