WATCH | Letters from Saint Joseph Children's Home

They're considered wards of the state. Neglected. Abused. They've been in foster care for months and in many cases years. They need your support.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — They're considered wards of the state. Neglected. Abused. Searching for a home they can call their own. Right now, you'll find 48 kids living at St. Joseph Children's Home and hundreds more in its foster care program, but they need your support.

This weekend, their biggest fundraiser of the year, the St. Joe's Picnic for the Kids, won't welcome the usual 60,000 visitors to the front lawn. Instead, thanks to the pandemic, the event is going virtual.

You're asked to give what you can and think about the children who'd benefit from your generosity.
