LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Season 21 of "The Bachelorette" premieres Monday night on ABC, and one of the contestants is from Louisville.
Jenn Tran, 26, was a contestant on the most recent season of "The Bachelor," and is the franchise's first ever Asian-American lead.
Matt Arnold is one of 25 contestants hoping to win Tran's heart and he is ready to get "wifed-up" according to his biography. He loves to go hiking, and climbing Mount Everest is at the top of his bucket list.
"This southern boy is ready to find love," his bio states. "Matt's family and friends describe him as genuine, open-minded and loyal...Matt's dream date is exploring a museum with the woman of his dreams and talking about all the different art pieces."
The 27 year old grew up in Louisville and is an insurance executive currently living in Atlanta, Georgia. Arnold still has family living in the Derby City.
