LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville animal shelter is searching for a pet owner after a dog was abandoned on Friday at a White Castle near Fern Creek.
Louisville Metro Animal Services (LMAS) said a dog was let out of a dark gray SUV in the drive-thru of the White Castle on Cedar Springs Boulevard.
The shelter said the dog doesn't have a microchip. They are searching for the owner of the dog.
LMAS officials said the White Castle manager played security footage which showed the dark gray SUV pulling up to the drive-thru when the dog appeared.
The driver behind the SUV yelled to one of the White Castle employees that the person in front of her let their dog out. The SUV is then seen traveling through the drive-thru and exiting the scene.
If you know anything about the dog, you're asked to call LMAS at (502) 473-7387. You can also message LMAS on any of their social media platforms.
