KHS is looking for Kentuckiana's most photogenic animals for 2025 Pet Calendar

Calling all "ani-models!"

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) is looking for the most photogenic animals for next year's pet calendar.

"Do you have a great photo of your elegant equine, favorite feline or precious pooch?" the humane society said. "Or a furry or scaly friend who missed their calling as an 'ani-model'?"

Residents in Kentucky and southern Indiana can submit photos of their pets for KHS' 2025 Pet Calendar Contest.

Submissions are one for $25, two for $40, or three for $60. KHS said, with that donation, pet owners will have their animal entered in for a chance to be featured as one of 11 Pets of the Month or 36 runners up.

Organizers said high resolution horizontal photos have the best chance of being selected and the photos must be in color and only feature animals, so no people.

And don't worry if your pet doesn't make the final cut, KHS said everyone who submits a photo will have their pet's photo printed in the calendar's collage. They'll also receive a copy of the 2025 Pet Calendar in November of this year.
