Burger Boy Diner was named one of the most "beloved" burger joints in the South by Southern Living.

The burger joint was listed with other neighborhood restaurants and diners including Laha's Red Castle in Hodgenville, Kentucky; Gilbert's 17th Street Grill in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Brown's Diner in Nashville, Tennessee; and The Varsity in Atlanta, Georgia.
Burger Boy said it's an honor to be ranked as one of the best burger joints in the South and the restaurant credits it to their high quality food and high quality customer service.
Above all else, they credit their success to their beloved customers and fans.
"The Old Louisville community is great. We have a lot of our customers that live in the neighborhood," Jack Walker, general manager of Burger Boy, said. "Our proximity to the University of Louisville and Manual High School -- we have a lot of students that come over here. Albeit that we are open 24/7, we are a late night dining place. If you come here late at night you'll see a lot of people hungry looking to get a combo or a pancake breakfast or any of the items that we offer."
Burger Boy is located at 1450 S. Brook St. They have a sister location, Burger Girl Diner, located at 3334 Frankfort Ave. Both locations are open 24 hours a day.
