CHARLESTOWN, Ind. — Several food trucks will battle it out this week in southern Indiana.
The annual Food Truck Challenge, hosted by the City of Charlestown, will be Friday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the City Square off Main Street.
You get to be the judge of five local food trucks during this competition. Each truck will have scorecards to hand out to customers. You will judge each truck on theme, taste, customer service, pricing and overall menu.
Home Run Burger, Mar Concessions, Scotty Jo's Concessions, The Scoop and Yello Sno will be vying for the top spot. The winning food truck will get bragging rights and a custom championship belt.
If you turn in a scorecard, you will be entered for a chance to win a gift card to spend with the vendors.
Event organizers invite you to bring a lawn chair and enjoy live music from the Paul Boggs Band as well as a car show by the Backyard Classics.
