INDIANAPOLIS — Checkers & Rally's is the latest fast food restaurant with a new offering as part of the value meal trend.
The drive-thru chain known for its burgers, fries, chicken and shakes unveiled its new "5 for $5" offering, which it says is its "best-ever meal deal."
The meal, which is available through Sept. 11, includes:
- Choice between two sandwiches: Cheese double or spicy chicken sandwich
- 8-count chicken bites
- Small order of seasoned fries
- 16-ounce soft drink
- Apple pie
"With the addition of our returning favorite Cheese Double and our famous Apple Pie, we’re thrilled to offer guests our most value-driven meal deal ever," said Scott Johnson, Chief Marketing Officer of Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc.

According to the company's website, there are 44 Rally's locations throughout Indiana, including 10 in Indianapolis, one in Greenwood and one in Plainfield.
