LOUISVILLE, Ky. — McDonald’s says Krispy Kreme doughnuts will be available at its Louisville-area restaurants and select markets nationwide beginning Nov. 12.
McDonald’s said it made the decision to bring the doughnuts back after a successful test run across 160 restaurants in Louisville and Lexington.
The restaurant will feature three iconic Krispy Kreme doughnuts – original glazed, chocolate iced with sprinkles and chocolate iced Kreme filled.
The doughnuts will be delivered fresh to McDonald’s restaurants daily and will be sold individually, as a half-dozen or dozen beginning at breakfast and lasting throughout the day while supplies last.
Customers can also get the doughnuts in the drive thru, McDelivery or on the McDonald’s app.
McDonald’s says the arrival of the doughnuts is part of a phased market rollout across the country announced in early 2024, with nationwide availability at participating restaurants by the end of 2026.
