LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Craft beer connoisseurs will get their chance to try beers they normally can't get in Louisville for just one week in October.
Several local breweries will be participating in Louisville Beer Week from Oct. 20 to 27.
This year's theme for the event is "around the world in eight days." Breweries will highlight international beer styles and pair it with food from the same region.
The week begins with "Louisville Beer Fest" on Friday, Oct. 20 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at German-American Club.
Louisville Beer Fest is an evening filled with great beers, lively music and delicious food. There will be a DJ as well as several local vendors including Elixir Kombucha and Girls Pint Out.
Tickets are $10 and include a commemorative glass. You can purchase entry tickets online here or at the gate.
There is also a $25 "Skip The Line" ticket available exclusively online that gives you ten 4oz sample tickets. If you're interested this, click here.
Not only does Louisville Beer Week start with the festival on Friday, there are several other events throughout the week including panel discussions, a disco, karaoke, a ping pong tournament and an event celebrating Ethan the dog who was abandoned at the Kentucky Humane Society back in 2021 but now spreads love and positivity everywhere he goes.
