LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Whether the moment was just right or he couldn't wait any longer, the crowd went wild Tuesday night for a couple that got engaged at Rupp Arena.
Captured on the iconic Hunk Cam during the University of Kentucky's home game against Ole Miss, you can see the couple smiling and laughing at each other as the man proposed. They were surrounded by fans cheering for both them and the game.
Even though everyone was cheering around them, they only had eyes for each other.
It happened early in the first half of the game as No. 22 Kentucky was leading 9-5 against Ole Miss.
As for the game, Ugonna Onyenso tied a Rupp Arena record with 10 blocks, Antonio Reeves scored 15 points and the Wildcats beat Mississippi 75-63 to end a three-game home losing streak.
