UofL Hospital welcomes 2 Leap Day babies

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two Leap Day babies were born at UofL Hospital on Thursday -- a boy and a girl. 

The first one born was a boy named Milan Sardina. He was born at 1:52 a.m. and weighed in at 8 pounds and 10 ounces.

Then, a girl named Noemi Bibiano Rodriguez was born at 2:50 a.m. She weighed in at 7 pounds 3 ounces.

"Their mothers are doing well and are so grateful to welcome their leap babes with UofL Health," a UofL spokesperson said.
