Vincenzo's, Cathedral of the Assumption feed 300 unhoused Louisvillians

Vincenzo’s has worked with the Cathedral to provide holiday meals for more than 25 years.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Vincenzo’s Italian restaurant is giving back for the holidays, sharing a special meal with 300 unhoused Louisvillians.

The holiday dinner was held Tuesday at the Cathedral of the Assumption.

It included Thanksgiving staples such as turkey, green beans, sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie.

The restaurant catered the dinner with staff helping to serve.

“It’s good to do something for the people that don’t have as much as we have,” Paul Tadatada with the Cathedral said. “It’s always important to be out here and doing service and taking care of those less fortunate.”

Vincenzo’s has worked with the Cathedral to provide meals for more than 25 years.

The restaurant, located on 5th Street, was founded in 1986 by brothers Vincenzo and Agostino Gabriele where they still work today.
