SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. — A Kentucky company that makes commercial HVAC products plans to build a manufacturing plant in Shelby County that will create 700 new jobs.
Gov. Andy Beshear said in a statement that Kentuckiana Curb Co. plans to invest $60 million to establish the plant in Simpsonville.
The statement says the company needs more room for production space and plans to build 380,000 square feet of facilities on 80 acres.
The jobs will pay an average hourly wage of $29 including benefits. Work is slated to begin on the Shelby County project next January and finish within a year.
