LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) – There is good news for workers at the Kentucky Truck Plant on the heels of increasing demand for the all-new Lincoln Navigator and Ford Expedition.
Ford is increasing production at the plant for the two new SUVs. The increase in production means a boost of 25 percent since last fall when both vehicles hit the market.
The automaker is also making an additional $25-million investment.
The latest move brings the company's total investment at the plant to $925 million.
