LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Pizza giant Papa Johns has issued an apology following a franchise’s promotion of the September 11 tragedy.
Officials say an Ohio franchise offered pizzas for $9.11 and called it the Remembrance Special.
Papa John’s headquarters, based in Louisville, says it was a complete lapse in judgement and does not reflect the company’s values.
