Louisville will soon have its first PGA Tour Superstore. The new facility will be ready by spring 2025 on Breckinridge Road in St. Matthews.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Golfers in the Louisville area will soon have a new place to find equipment and apparel.

PGA Tour Superstore plans to open the area's first location in spring 2025. The 34,953-square-foot facility will occupy the former Bed, Bath & Beyond space at 996 Breckinridge Lane in St. Matthews.

According to PGA Tour Superstore spokeswoman Megan Mahoney, the location will include a 1,494-square-foot putting green, four simulators, club fittings, practice bays and professional lessons.

"PGA TOUR Superstore, the country's leading destination for golf equipment, accessories and apparel, will usher in an experiential shopping experience for residents of the greater Louisville community with the opening of our first store in the area," Mahoney said. "This will also be our first store in the state of Kentucky.  With more than 50 golf courses in the metro Derby City area, the enthusiasm for golf is contagious. And, year-to-date, rounds of golf played across Kentucky are up 2.2 percent vs. a year ago."

The store will also carry apparel for men, women and kids, as well as tennis and pickleball equipment.

PGA Tour Superstore is expected to open by spring 2025.

Louisville has a rich golf history. Valhalla Golf Club has hosted four PGA Championships, including the 2024 event. The course was also home to the 2008 Ryder Cup, and 2004 and 2011 Senior PGA Championships.

In August, the LPGA announced the 2028 Solheim Cup would be held at Valhalla.

Justin Thomas, one of the most popular American golfers on Tour, is from Louisville and graduated from St. Xavier High School.
