LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville's first of three Publix locations is set to open Wednesday morning.
The Florida-based super market chain sits just off Old Henry Road and the Gene Snyder.
Inside the grocery you'll find the usual Bakery, Deli, Meat and Produce areas, with a neighboring liquor store.
In celebration of its new home in Louisville, Publix also made a donation to Dare to Care to give back to it's new community.
"We couldn't be happier to be in Louisville," Media Relations Manager Hannah Herring said. "We've been working with the team so long to get the store ready, to stock every shelf, to put every piece of produce out for our customers who are going to be so excited to shop with us tomorrow. And we can't wait to deliver the customer experience that Publix is known for."
The other locations will be at Ballardsville and Brownsboro Road, and Eastwood on Flat Rock Road.
No opening dates have been released for those locations.
"Customers in Kentucky new and old, if you've been to our store or haven't, you should really walk through the door and feel welcome like family," Herring said. "You know whenever you visit our deli or our produce department or our wonderful bakery with the good smells coming out, you're going to find our friendly associates who love to provide quality service and products with a smile on their face."
The Publix on Terra Crossing opens at 7 a.m.
