LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Who else wants to drink cocktails while playing putt-putt indoors in Louisville? Well, Puttshack will soon have that covered.
According to a news release from the company, this will be Puttshack's first location in Kentucky, 14th in the United States and 18th globally.
The location will be around 25,000 square feet, and will feature live entertainment, a 9-hole mini golf course, exclusive event spaces and more. Other games include air hockey, Connect Four and a true/false hole.
They will also have two full service bar areas and an outdoor patio for dining. Puttshack will also donate a dollar to Apron Inc. from every Kentucky Tailpipe they sell according to the release. The Kentucky Tailpipe is a burgoo-inspired spring roll with pulled pork, roasted corn, okra and lima beans with Henry Bain's sauce.
“Oxmoor Center is the perfect location for Puttshack's unique blend of technology, entertainment, and hospitality," CFO Logan Powell said. "The accessibility of the growing area makes it perfect not only for locals but tourists to enjoy the interactive experience, and we can't wait to share Puttshack with the people of Derby City."
Puttshack is scheduled to open next month on March 20 in The Green at the Oxmoor Center. It will be open Sunday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to midnight, then Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
The venue will be family-friendly during the day, and will become "an elevated nightlife environment" after 8 p.m.
