JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- In the last two years Jeffersonville's mayor says it's seen 2,500 new jobs come to town.

Now the Briova RX specialty pharmacy facility at River Ridge is due to open by January with initially about one hundred jobs, double that by 2015.

The jobs which include pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and high-skilled health care workers pay well. The 7,500 square-foot building is just the latest in a literal line of River Ridge businesses built along Patrol Road in Jeffersonville.

'This area gives us a tremendous advantage in attracting the kinds of investments represented in the Catamaran investment today. And we're going to continue to tell the River Ridge story and continue to be grateful for all of the leadership in this region,' Indiana Governor Mike Pence said.
