LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A beloved children's bookstore is closed due to more water damage.
In a post on social media, Carmichael's Kids said they have closed their doors due to flooding.
"This is the worst case of déjà vu," they wrote. The bookstore had to close in January after severe flooding in the building. The business re-opened a month later.
They said the business sustained the water damage from an issue with the roof and "we will make a decision about a reopening date after we fully assess damages and necessary repairs."
In the meantime, the Carmichael's Bookstore on Frankfort Avenue has children's books for the community to peruse.
