Southwest Airlines adds non-stop service between Louisville and Dallas

The airline began their non-stop service from Louisville to the Lone Star state Monday afternoon.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Louisville International Airport is adding another non-stop flight to its roster.

Southwest Airlines started their new service from Louisville (SDF) to Dallas Love Field (DAL) on January 7, 2019. 

This is the airlines’ 9th destination from the Derby City and the second addition in the last year. Other destinations include Baltimore, Denver, Las Vegas, and Orlando.

"Dallas is a strong business center for our community, and it's great to see more options and direct flights from Louisville International Airport," Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer said.

Non-stop flights from Louisville to Dallas will fly daily.
