LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Keep checking those lottery tickets, another Kentuckian just became a millionaire following Friday's Mega Millions drawing.
This time, the winning ticket was sold in Erlanger. It's the second million-dollar winning ticket sold in a week, Kentucky Lottery officials said.
According to a release, the ticket matched all five white ball winning numbers, but not the Mega Ball.
If the ticket holder had matched the Mega Ball, they would have won $36 million.
The winning numbers from last night's drawing are:
2 - 5 - 29 - 64 - 69. The Mega Ball was 18.
The name of the retailer where the ticket was sold has not been released. Lottery security staff will need to conduct a series of security checks where the ticket was sold before the retailer's name is released.
As always, if you're the lucky winner, be sure to sign the back of your ticket and store it somewhere safe.
The winner will have 180 days to claim their prize and will need to claim it at the lottery's headquarters in Louisville. They will also need to call the lottery's claims office at 800-937-8946 to schedule a time to claim their winnings.
Last Friday, someone in Richmond, Ky. also won the game's million-dollar prize.
