RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) - More than 200 students had to evacuate their Eastern Kentucky University dormitory early Tuesday.
Firefighters told WKYT-TV (http://bit.ly/1aFpBZ3) that a sprinkler may have malfunctioned in Clay Hall. About four of the building's ten floors were flooded by the sprinkler.
Clay Hall was completely evacuated around 1:30 a.m., and students were not allowed to return until about 5:45 a.m.
There was no immediate estimate of the damage to the property.
