Police are investigating two incidents that happened an hour apart Sunday night. Three people were killed and one was injured, but police don't have any suspects right now.
The first shooting took place around 11:15 p.m. According to police, officers were sent to Wheeler Avenue, in the Jacobs neighborhood, on the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found two women who had been shot. One of them died at the scene and the other was taken to hospital.
After further investigation, officers believe the shooting actually happened at Parthenia Avenue and Carlise Avenue, where they found a man who had also been shot. He was taken to the hospital where he died.
The second incident happened a little after midnight. Officers found a man inside of a car on Greenwood Avenue who had been shot. He died at the scene.
None of the victims have been identified yet.
The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating both of these shootings and they do not have any suspects at this time. If you have any information, you are urged to call the anonymous tip line at 574-LMPD.
