Police: 2 missing Bullitt County teens found safe

It's unknown if the two children are together, however police said they are in a school club together.

BULLITT COUNTY, Ky. — The Bullitt County Sheriff's Office has canceled a Golden Alert for two missing Shepherdsville teens.

Authorities said the two teens were found safe Monday afternoon.

According to a news release, it's unknown if the children are together, however investigators said both teens attend Bullitt Central High School and are in a school club together.

16-year-old Gavin Conover was last seen Sunday, Oct. 22, around 11 p.m. in the 2400 block of Highway 44 West in Shepherdsville. Police said he took his bicycle and backpack.

Conover is 6'1" and has brown shoulder-length hair. Sheriff Walt Sholar said he has scars on his arm and leg.

16-year-old Natalya Rigney-Linton was also reported missing to police. Authorities said Rigney, who may go by Zain, was last seen wearing a black hoodie and potentially something plaid on Stargel Lane in Shepherdsville. 

Rigney is 5'3, medium build, and has brown shoulder-length hair, green eyes and a scar on their forehead. Police said Rigney reportedly left home with a black and purple bicycle. 

Authorities said both teens are diagnosed with high-functioning autism. They said Rigney requires medication.

Anyone with any information regarding these teens whereabouts is urged to contact 911.
