LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Earlier this month, Louisville's Office of Resilience and Community Services gave out more than 200 fans to residents during the ninth annual Fan Fair.
As a blast of heat takes over Kentucky and southern Indiana this week, city officials want to be sure many of the community's vulnerable populations have ways to beat the heat.
If you weren't able to make it to the 2024 Fan Fair, you may still be able to get a free fan.
Starting on June 17, eligible residents can check the nearest location below to check on fan availability and instructions to pick one up. To receive a fan, you must be 60 or older, or have a documented disability.
