LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville Orchestra is bringing music to the ears of the Derby City for free.
It's called "Music Without Borders," and it's a celebration of the universal language of music.
The yearly series brings the Louisville Orchestra to locations across the city.
It allows those who couldn't normally afford to hear professional musicians an opportunity to listen to a wide variety of music.
Organizers said it's a great opportunity to instill a love of music to a new generation.
"The concert hall can be an intimidating place," Director of Operations Thomas Adams said. "People may have heard of the Louisville Orchestra, but maybe they've never come because they don't know what's going on inside Whitney Hall. So this is our chance to bring it to the people."
There will be another concert Friday night at the Saint Vincent De Paul Family Success Center.
