LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Hours after a teenager was shot and killed following a double shooting in the Algonquin neighborhood, authorities have now identified the victim.
Sam Kamara, 16, died from a gunshot wound.
Kamara and another victim were shot near the intersection of Dixie Highway and West Hill Street just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
Both were transported to an area hospital where Kamara was pronounced dead a short time later. The second victim is being treated for their injuries.
Metro Police said they do not have a suspect in this incident but urge the public to come forward.
