LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A shooting in the Portland neighborhood has left one person dead and two injured.
According to Metro Police, a man and a woman were found shot in the 2900 block of Garfield Avenue around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Police said they tried life-saving efforts on the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was taken to an area hospital with what they believe are non-life-threatening injuries.
Police did say a second woman was treated at the scene for minor injuries, but they can’t specifically confirm it was a gunshot wound.
