LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville teen was found shot in the leg in the Algonquin neighborhood early Saturday morning.
Officers with Louisville Metro Police's Second Division responded to a report of a shooting in the 1600 block of Brashear Drive around midnight.
At the scene, police found a 17-year-old boy outside suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
LMPD said he was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital, and is expected to survive his injuries.
A short time later, LMPD said they were called to respond to Norton Hospital on a walk-in gunshot wound victim, a man, with a gunshot wound. Authorities said he is also expected to survive his injuries. Police believe that both shootings are related.
The department's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is handling the investigation, which remains ongoing at this time. There are no known suspects.
