Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) – A suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 34-year-old man in Russell County.
Officers responded to a call around 3:50 a.m. on December 27 that a shooting had occurred in the 4200 block of KY Hwy. 92.
According to reports, Jason Adam Willis, who lived at the location of the shooting, became involved in a verbal argument with his neighbor, 19-year-old Trevor Robertson.
The report stated that, at some point during the argument, Robertson retrieved a shotgun from his residence and shot at Willis, striking him in the upper torso. Willis was pronounced dead at the scene.
Robertson was arrested, charged with Murder and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing.
