2 inmates escape from Columbia jail

COLUMBIA, Ky. (AP) - Police in central Kentucky say they are looking for two jail inmates who have escaped from custody.

WKYT-TV reports that Columbia police say Jordan Luttrell and Thomas Wilson walked out of the Adair County Regional Jail on Tuesday evening about an hour before bed checks.

Police say Luttrell is 5-feet -11 and 175 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes and a large scar on the right side of his head.

Wilson is described 6 feet and 220 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes and tattoos on both sides of his neck and both arms.

Both men were in jail on theft-related charges. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call police at 270-384-4119 or 270-384-6464.
