LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police is investigating after two men were sent to the hospital with gunshot wounds Friday afternoon.
Investigators said officers responded to a shooting in the 3100 block of Melody Acres Lane around 6:15 p.m.
When officers arrived, police said they found a man shot in the area. But down the street at the Marathon on Rockford Lane and Cane Run Road, officers found another man suffering from a gunshot wound.
First responders transported both men to the hospital.
Officials said the victim located at the scene died from his injuries early Saturday morning.
The man found down the road is still in serious condition.
No other information is available.
