LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A young boy is hospitalized after being shot in the arm on Saturday night.
Around 8:30 p.m., Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) Second Division officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 3200 block of Greendale Drive.
When officers arrived, they said they found a 9-year-old boy that had been shot in the arm. LMPD said the child suffered the injury as a result of people shooting at the home he was in.
He was taken to Norton Children’s Hospital where authorities said he is expected to survive.
There are no known suspect(s) at this time, police said.
