LEXINGTON, Ky. — Two people have been arrested after three missing children were found across state lines earlier this month.
On Oct. 7, the Lexington Police Department said Crimes Against Children detectives received a call regarding the missing children possibly being taken out of state by two "non-custodial family members."
Authorities were able to quickly identify and locate the vehicle transporting the children in Delaware.
Hours after the initial report was made, Delaware State Police stopped the vehicle and found all three kids safe.
Ashley Brown, 29, and Kolene Shahan, 50, were arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree kidnapping.
