LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Harrison County police have arrested a suspect on Friday in what they called an "ambush" killing outside of the Caesars Southern Indiana Hotel and Casino back in March.
Antwaun Proctor, 20, is charged with murder, robbery and criminal mischief.
According to court documents, on March 17, LilDon Williams and several family members arrived at the casino at almost 1 a.m.
Investigators said a dark colored passenger car followed them into the garage and waited there for almost three hours.
The documents then go on to say Williams exited the casino and parted ways with his family.
The suspect's car approached Williams car after he was already inside his vehicle, and that's when police said the suspect shot at him.
The documents said Proctor matched a witness's description of the events.
Police said they used traffic cameras and cell phone data to identify Proctor as a suspect.
Now, Proctor is in the Harrison County jail and is being held without bond.
He's expected in court on June 19.
